To ensure the delivery of high quality, customer focused housing management and support services through planning, monitoring and evaluating performance against agreed standards and targets. To recruit, lead, supervise and develop the staff team, in accordance with Trust policies. To participate in disciplinary and grievance processes as necessary. To ensure that optimum staffing levels are maintained and to participate in the rota and on call arrangements, responding to emergencies as necessary. To be responsible for the selection of residents ensuring decisions are based on full information and risk assessment. To be responsible for the welfare of the residents, ensuring that their needs are identified and resourced. To ensure that the rights and dignity of all residents are respected and their participation in decision making about themselves and the running of their home is maintained. To resolve disputes within the Project and to ensure that conditions of occupancy are adhered to, taking decisions on necessary action as appropriate. To contribute to the development of policy and best practice, keeping abreast of changes in legislation and guidance relating to supported housing and the client group. To maximise income through effective lettings and void management, and rent collection. If necessary, to take appropriate action to assist with the recovery of rent and service charges. To contribute to the preparation of the Project`s annual budget. To manage the budget and monitor expenditure within scope of authority and Trust procedures. To be responsible for all administrative and financial procedures relating to the efficient running of the Project. To develop and maintain good relations with external agencies and to represent and promote the Trust. To contribute to the development of opportunities for the Trust to fulfil its objectives in meeting housing and support needs in the area. To ensure that the highest possible standards of health and safety are maintained. To ensure that the properties are kept in good repair and decorative order in accordance with agreed procedures. To ensure that Trust`s policies and procedures on Equal Opportunities and Confidentiality are understood and implemented. To undertake other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time.
